Our first goal is to partner with a “distiller-mentor” who could coach us in our adventure.

On Tuesday, February 12, 2019, we meet Alex, the “magician” of an exceptional distillery somewhere in the Lake Geneva region.  

Alex has 30 years of experience in the distillation of eaux-de-vie and spirits, having won countless rewards and medals of all kinds (it is even said that some Valaisans are ready to give up the AOC Wallis to have their precious Apricotine distilled by the master…).

A brief visit of the distillery and a pleasant aperitif later, our case is heard: Alex is seduced by the project and agreed to accompany us in this adventure (it must be mentioned that he is a good rums lover).
